From Springfield, Missouri, Casy brings the mindset of a coach and the heart of a leader. Before joining the insurance world, she spent her time courtside as a College Women’s Basketball coach—training, mentoring, and empowering young athletes. But eventually, she felt called to something more.
“What inspired me to consider a new career? Truthfully, money and building a life I could only dream of.”
That dream led her to Lasting Mark—an opportunity close to home in more ways than one. Her father, Brian Askins, is the CEO, and the impact of that leadership has been more than just professional—it’s personal. For over two years, Casy has leaned into the mission, combining grit and grace to make her mark.
“The culture and compensation” are what set Lasting Mark apart, she says. But it’s also the systems, support, and team dynamic that empower her to thrive. “If we ever have any problems we know we can always reach out and ask questions.”
For Casy, the dream she’s chasing isn’t just her own—it’s one she’s building for her family.
“I think financial freedom means I set my family up with a life they couldn’t dream of. It also means traveling and getting back to coaching.”
That love for coaching never left. It’s now infused into how she leads, mentors, and motivates her team—not by pushing products, but by developing people.
“I want to have a team that sells themselves not a product.”
When it comes to her legacy, Casy keeps it simple and powerful:
“I want people to know I love them and always want what is best for them.”
And her advice to anyone starting out? It’s as practical as it is profound:
“Stay in your lane and do not try and do too much… It takes time. Stay with it!”
