Meet Amy Searcy Knirsch
Polaris Insurance Solutions
From Survival to Significance
Amy hails from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and while her career has taken her to new heights, her roots remain firmly planted in the people she loves: her husband Steve, her three adult children—Audra, Nelson, and Emma—and her three beautiful grandchildren, Maxwell, Sadie, and Lillian.

Her entry into insurance came not from ambition, but necessity.
“After being a stay-at-home mom, I had to leave an unhealthy environment and was instantly a single mama, simply needing to provide food, clothing, and shelter. Insurance came across my lap, and I leaned in to learn how to serve others in this industry.”
What started as a lifeline became a calling.
Amy met the leaders of Lasting Mark at an insurance conference. One encounter with the culture, and she knew: these were her people.
“The transparency, honesty, and integrity of Lasting Mark are miles above any other IMO in the industry. We encourage, cheer, and pray for one another.”

That culture—rooted in faith, encouragement, and ethical leadership—was more than just refreshing. It was life-changing. The systems and processes helped Amy grow her business, but it was the support and shared mission that helped her rebuild her life.
“Starting as a beyond broke single mama, who had to cash out my life insurance policy to have $10,000 to start life over… to traveling the world, and showing my children what hard work, done ethically, can do.”
Today, Amy enjoys the flexibility and freedom that this industry promises—but more importantly, she’s using it to give back. She mentors, encourages, and shares her story to help others believe in what’s possible.
“The blessings are not simply for us to enjoy; it is sharing those blessings with others in need that is where it’s at.”
One of Amy’s favorite memories at Lasting Mark is befriending Betty Mendre, who also began her career as a single mama.
“We bonded, started a friendship and mentorship, and she thrived and grew her own successful agency!”
Another favorite memory for Amy is looking back at how far she’s come.
“Starting as a single mother, I’ve seen this business grow to include my children working alongside me. Now, we have a thriving family business that will continue to serve others for generations to come!”

When asked about the legacy she hopes to leave behind, Amy said it best:
“Love, servanthood, and generosity—through my work, for this generation and others.”
Amy’s story isn’t just inspiring—it’s a roadmap for anyone wondering if they have what it takes. Her advice?
“First, know that culture is the most important. Anyone should be able to teach you sales, products, etc., but unless you have the culture, you won’t be able to soar your highest.”
Perseverance. Courage. Clarity. Servanthood. Amy embodies each of these traits. And thanks to leaders like her, the heart of Lasting Mark beats stronger every day.
